What I like and dislike about Lagos

For the likes: It’s quite commercial. Any network works here(at least the urban part).
For the dislikes: Traffic, bad roads, insecurity, corruption and of course, stress (Lagos is the 3rd most stressful city in the world…..give Lagos a round of applause…).

Should parents always beat their children?

Definitely not every time. Sometimes, we need just words of correction not necessarily insults or beating. The bible says, parents shouldn’t spare the rod when need they don’t need to(Proverbs 13:24) and like a saying goes “spare the rod and spoil the child”, the same bible says that parents should not provoke their children(Ephesians 6:4) and that same bible says the children should OBEY their parents so that their days may be long(Ephesians 6:1-3). So, cooperation of training a child comes from both parent and child, not parent alone and definitely not child alone.

  1. This is a fun little post, I love things like this. I think they are so interesting finding out a bit more behind the blogger. I too think kindness is very important and think it something that I look for in both friendships and relationships.

  2. Hahha that was fun, I was anssewring for myself… I do HATE it when someone GIVES TOO MUCH ABOUT THEIR PERSONAL LIFE AWAY< life is TOO precious, not even detail of life should be to public. well thats my strong opinion… otherwise its ATTENTION seeking.. so glad this post is light and fun xxxxx great blogg

  3. I love these challenges, these are so much of fun and great way to know more about fellow bloggers. Guess it’s time, I too need to throw this challenge:)

  4. What a fun way to learn more about you! I’ve got to ask what is Pounded yam and groundnut soup? I’m a food blogger and that has me super curious. Also, one day I hope to visit Paris too, if only to drink great wine, have a macaroon, and fresh bread. x

    1. Pounded yam and groundnut soup is a Nigerian dish. I’m a food blogger too, it’s nice to meet you!. 😊😁
Hmmn, your food already tastes yum yum 😊😉

    2. Pounded yam is Yam boiled and pounded to a mould. Groundnut soup is peanuts blended to tiny granules, and then fried in palm oil to make a soup. I just thought to chip that in and famz Nigeria small. 😝😝

  5. Enele, my sister and friend!
This is so impressive: it’s simple yet witty and interesting. Please I’d love to take this challenge. Could you mail me the questions. Thanks hun.
